Scandinavian “Social Democracies”

Some quotes I found discussing this topic:

Democratic socialists are generally opponents of global capitalism and free trade, but the Scandinavian countries have fully embraced these things. The Economist magazine describes the Scandinavian countries as “stout free-traders who resist the temptation to intervene even to protect iconic companies.” Perhaps this is why Denmark, Norway, and Sweden rank among the most globalized countries in the entire world. – Anon

Most “socialist” countries spend a lot in Social Security because America subsidizes their defense against Russia and other powers that be. – Anon

Who said those are socialist countries… those countries have free market. Having welfare doesn’t mean they are socialists. – Anon

I’m fairly sure that these Socialist-Marxist Democracies of Europe and Eastern Europe, will be shocked and panicked, when President Trump shuts down US Military Operations in all 32 countries we have a presence in and brings our entire Military back to the USA, as he promised 11 times during the campaign. The estimated savings to taxpayers would be slightly more than $380 Billion of the $617 Billion National Defense Budget per year – Anon

I’ve read that the Scandinavian countries should rather be called Social Democrats. Seems fitting.
